Research backed suggestions to strengthen your brain.

Video below is very much worth watching, some good ideas for how to get the most from your brain. "You are the mechanic and you are the driver of your brain." Here are the 7 secrets:

1. Single task.
2. Inhibit information.
3. Big idea thinking.
4. Detox distractions.
5. Calibrate mental effort.
6. Innovate.
7. Motivate.

Does this cover it? Any additions to these 7? Any of these you disagree with after you watch the video?

Hope this post helps you. After you watch the video you'll understand why I know it helped me to post it!

Our mission and purpose:

The mission of your new, free Small Business Chamber of Commerce (no dues or fees for membership, we intend to be self-supporting through fully disclosed voluntary contributions so the help we provide is available to everyone) is to strengthen the voice of the grassroots in business and politics.

We cooperate with local chambers and other groups to organize low cost/ no cost IDEA Startup Workshops, Franklin Circles (Peer Advisory Groups), and Root & Branch Recovery Faith Sharing Groups.

Our purpose is to do Good Work and to help others do Good Work, too. Good Work provides: 1) useful products and services for customers, and 2) for all involved in the business (owners, employees, and suppliers) an adequate income and an opportunity for learning and personal growth, all for the greater glory of our God as we each understand God.

Want to be guest on Startup Show?

To: All who want to be on the Startup Show.

Google+ Suggests that for each show we:

✓ Make sure all participants have set up a Google account, with a Google+ profile, and have uploaded a profile photo. ✓ Make sure all participants have added you to their Circles, and you have added them. ✓ Make sure your participants who aren’t using the Chrome browser download and install the Hangouts plugin before the broadcast. ✓ Microphone quality is also important for voice clarity -- if they’re using the default microphone on an old computer, they may need to upgrade and use an external microphone instead. ✓ The biggest distraction in a Hangout On Air is background noise and feedback. Ask all participants to use headphones or earbuds. For more see http://plus.google.com

Once you have met these requirements, call us and leave a complete message about who you are and why you think those who watch The Startup Show would be interested in what you have to say. We are primarily interested in scheduling people who have started a business who are willing to share their experience. Call us at (303)861-1447
