Discus added-- please comment.

We are doing a 30-day free trial with Discus to see if it facilitates more discussion. What do you think? And would someone remind me in 29 days to decide if we should keep Discus? :-) thanks!

From our Founder, John S Wren:

To get help by talking with someone who has already done it as you begin thinking about starting a new career, a new project or campaign, or a new business, first join us, it's free! Just "Like" and "Share" after you post a status update introducing yourself and your business on our Small Business Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page: http://Facebook.com/Small.Business.Chamber

Questions now? Call the Startup Line. (303)861-1447 Want to volunteer to have calls about startup forwarded to you to answer? Call the Startup Line (303)861-1447 and ask to speak to me personally after you have read my  little book about startup, 99-cents or free on Amazon, search there for John Wren Daring Mighty Things."

We cooperate with some local chambers, associations, service clubs, community newspaper and magazine publishers, and others who share our passion for strengthening the grassroots, the voice of the common person, in business and politics. But we affiliate with no one, we are self supporting through our own contributions.

Most powerful tool for your startup and growth

Ever since Ben Franklin pulled together a group of his friends back in 1727, the phenomenal growth of the United States of America has been fueled by what until recently was one of our most American of institutions. What is it?

Small independent peer self-directed learning groups.

Ben Franklin writes about that first little band of brothers in his famous autobiography.

They called themselves the Junto.

We'll be writing here about that first small group here each day over the next week or so, and a Google+ Hangout will be available for those who'd like to discuss what is said here about them.

Stay tuned.
