Starting a new career? Or do you help those who are? Join us for an IDEA Cafe Startup Workshop

A free, open gathering to share career startup experience, information and new ideas.

Model group each Friday in Denver just a block from the Capitol from 2 to 3:30 pm.

After you've attended once or twice we will give you help to start a similar group with your local chamber and/or your local community newspaper.

Our mission and purpose:

The mission of your new, free Small Business Chamber of Commerce (no dues or fees for membership, we intend to be self-supporting through fully disclosed voluntary contributions so the help we provide is available to everyone) is to strengthen the voice of the grassroots in business and politics.

We cooperate with local chambers and other groups to organize low cost/ no cost IDEA Startup Workshops, Franklin Circles (Peer Advisory Groups), and Root & Branch Recovery Faith Sharing Groups.

Our purpose is to do Good Work and to help others do Good Work, too. Good Work provides: 1) useful products and services for customers, and 2) for all involved in the business (owners, employees, and suppliers) an adequate income and an opportunity for learning and personal growth, all for the greater glory of our God as we each understand God.

✓ Make sure all participants have set up a Google account, with a Google+ profile, and have uploaded a profile photo. ✓ Make sure all participants have added you to their Circles, and you have added them. ✓ Make sure your participants who aren’t using the Chrome browser download and install the Hangouts plugin before the broadcast. ✓ Microphone quality is also important for voice clarity -- if they’re using the default microphone on an old computer, they may need to upgrade and use an external microphone instead. ✓ The biggest distraction in a Hangout On Air is background noise and feedback.
